Running my own studio

Reclamation is an indie project that I've been developing in my spare time. It is a 2.5D Metroidvania sculpted out of real clay. I directed the project, did all the programming, developed the art pipeline, designed much of the game, coordinated with outsourcers, and had two full-time employees working on it for the last year.

 

I learned an insane amount of new skills throughout development, including (but not limited to) claymation sculpting techniques, robotics, metalworking, 3D printing, building a project budget, preparing and presenting a pitch deck to investors, and the basics of operating a game devleopment company. All this on top of classic game development skills such as animation, game design, writing HLSL, Nintendo Switch deployment, and improving my programming skills.
